Nuke is a proudly South African watch brand, originally conceived out of a real-world need — durable, affordable watches that could stand up to the demands of the mining industry.

We registered the Nuke trademark in 2003, and began importing watches specifically designed to meet the tough conditions experienced by mine workers across the country. Based in the gold mining town of Carletonville, Gauteng, our retail store — Jacobs Cycles & Hardware — has served as the home base for the Nuke brand since day one.

Over the years, we've sold hundreds of Nuke watches to miners and contractors, earning a reputation for ruggedness, reliability, and excellent value. As word spread, our customer base grew to include companies who supply entire teams with Nuke watches — appreciating both the practicality and the price.

We've never stopped refining our products. Each new batch is an improvement: stronger casings, better seals, clearer displays — always with affordability and functionality at the core. At Nuke, we believe that tough, reliable watches shouldn't cost a fortune.

Founded by Nicolaos Rapelas, Nuke Brand emerged from Jacobs Cycles & Hardware to become a trusted name in quality products. Our journey began in Carletonville, South Africa, where we've built our reputation on reliability and innovation.
